Does Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' larvum actually exist? Cruise is so strange, and Scientology so shadowy, that it's easy to imagine the whole thing is some kind of conspiracy. Not helping matters: Holmes's press-friendly, four-year pregnancy; the media-whorish couple's failure to exhibit their offspring in public for months after her birth; and the rumor that Tom Cruise auditioned a stable of actresses for the part of his wife (among them Jessica Alba, Keri Russell and Scarlett Johansson). Then Vanity Fair got the photos, the result of days of shooting around the Cruise estate, and the smiling, glassy-eyed features editor was on Larry King declaring that Cruise and Holmes are the best parents in the world and that Scientology "didn't come up" during the shoot. So for the first time in history, documentation only made the existence of the subject seem less true.

We know pop princess Britney Spears has been enjoying her boozed panty-free nights out but is she also a pill popper? According to In Touch weekly, Britney Spears dined at celebrity eatery Dan Tana's this week and was spotted leaving the joint with a glass of wine as she walked to her car. According to sources while Britney paid a visit to the ladies' room, where she plopped her purse down on the counter and in front of several witnesses opened her bag to reveal a bounty of pills inside.

One eyewitness told the magazine, "There was a bottle of Paxil (an antidepressant) and a bottle of Xanax (for anxiety) that she took out and put on the counter. It looked like a pharmacy in there." The magazine also claims in their latest issue that Britney has allegedly been spending a lot of time in the rest rooms of clubs and after-hours parties lately. If you know that every move you make is watched or photographed, you’d think she would be a little more cautious…after all, this is Hollywood, news spreads like fire

TOMKAT to seduce Jen into Scientology?

No word on how close Jennifer is to Tomkat but they have been spending a lot of time together lately. Jennifer and Marc recently dined together with Victoria Beckham and TOMKAT at Wolfgang Puck eatery "The Cut" in Beverly Hills. There are some rumors that Jennifer might be turning to the teachings of Scientology in an effort to get pregnant. According to Contactmusic J.Lo is allegedly taking tips from actress Leah Remini, who used the religion's doctrines when she was trying to conceive her first child. There are also reports that Lopez became interested in Scientology when Remini confided in her that the religion helped her conceive. "She's starting to understand the cleansing process. It's all about putting the positive energy where you want it", said a witness.

The source insists Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are doubtful to join the church because he's a devoted Catholic, but "he's willing to let Jen do what she needs to make things happen."
